With the Fire safety module you can keep an automated business register of all hazardous substances used or present in your organization. The information in the register is focused on the location of the substances, the maximum stock of the substances and the possible extinguishing agents. The information set out in the Fire safety module is used as a basis for compiling a good CERT organization.
Within the module you register units and spaces that also play an important role within the modules stock, orders and waste. You lay out the structure of spatial elements like cabinets, rooms and buildings in this module. An important role in capturing the spatial structure is played by choosing the right spatial types. Each room type has its own attributes in order to be able to exercise the best possible control. For example, a location can have an address, while a room can be fitted with fire-proof walls.
For the proper definition of the spatial structure, you need to take ample time. For example, if you want to know what the stock is on a certain floor and define only the spaces 'building' and 'closet', then you will not be able to answer the question. Also, without a good space and inventory definition, you can't create a good or full PGS 15 report.
In GROS it was possible to define an additional level for several organizations in a room. SOFOS 360® does not offer you that possibility.
Also, sharing the application with multiple organizations may mean that you define a level for it. However, you can define one level per space, but you cannot refine it by adding an additional level for each organization.
